It all begins with an idea. I had some black obsidian slabs, each awaiting a touch of transformation through careful polishing on both sides. Once they shone, I layered them with vibrant dichroic glass, securing the pieces with epoxy to create a stunning fusion. The whole assembly was then rounded into a smooth cylinder, and from there, I meticulously cut it into sections. Each piece underwent multiple polishing sessions, refining their surfaces and enhancing the interplay of light and color. Finally, a last polish brought them to life, revealing their breathtaking, finished status – a harmonious blend of the earthiness of stone and the brilliance of glass.
